The Sociedad Cultural Cultural y Civica La Reforma - SCCLR-
is a newly formed Mexican-American organization based in Northwest
Indiana and founded in the fall of 2006 with the help of seven core
members. The non-profit group plans to host several cultural events
throughout the year. It will also offer community programs targeting
youth and elderly.
The group welcomes all ethnicities and seeks highly motivated,
creative members willing to dedicate their time and efforts in
encouraging cultural awareness. Meetings are held every third
Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm at 711 W. Chicago Avenue, East
Chicago, IN at the Galaxy Travel office.
