FYI,

The following bills already have been through a committee.

There are 5 House Bill proposals and 2 Senate Bill proposals.

So far, some of these bills have been only through the first
reading.

There is one reading and one or two hearings for each bill.

After that, it goes through either the full Senate or the House
for a vote (depending where the bill originates). It is a long
process.

SB 0335 so far is the only one of the above bill proposals
that had more activity.

It has changed considerable due to some amendments. It
passed the committee on January 24 (9 in favor and 1 against
it).

The next step is to go to the full senate for a vote.

You can always call your State legislator and/or your State
Senator to find out what is going on about the bills, or to
express you opinion.
